We are Richard, Sandy, and Ben – the third and fourth-generation owners of this century-old company.

Our story is one of immigrant success and the American dream. In 1906, our founder Nathan Radutzky moved from Ukraine to New York at the age of 21, bringing with him a cherished recipe for Halvah, a delicious sesame-based confection. By 1931, he had built a factory in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where we still operate today.

Over the decades, we've expanded our offerings, launching iconic products like Jell Rings and Marshmallow Twists for Passover, as well as introducing Tahini as a retail item. In 1993, the four Radutzky brothers were inducted into the National Candy Hall of Fame, a testament to their dedication and the quality of our products.

Today, we continue to handcraft our Original Halvah using the same time-honored recipe. Made from over 50% crushed sesame seeds and a few simple ingredients, our Halvah is mixed by hand in traditional copper bowls, resulting in a smooth, fudge-like texture. With a sweet-savory taste, it's a nutritious and indulgent treat.
